Authentic Bugeye License Plate Light Mounting Plinth with Hardware

Description

This is a very often missing or incorrect item on many Bugeyes. It is the proper support for all Mark 1 license plate lights. Ours also comes with the correct mounting screws which attach through the boot into this assembly. This item is sold painted black. To be proper, it should be color matched to your car.

We have several pictures of the correct placement of the product below. The last picture of a primed Bugeye shows the incorrect later Sprite license plate light support. These are commonly seen but not accurate. We only sell the Mark 1 support. Generally, these plinths have to have some attention paid to them while doing the body work prep to the car – minor imperfections are common from the manufacturer. 

Make sure to replace the plinth to body gasket too, which we also sell.
