WORKS WITH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE GROUND CARS

You really should have a working fuel gauge on your Spridget! With just a 7.2 gallon tank, it’s easy to run out if your gauge doesn’t work.

We have solutions to make sure your gauge works!

Unfortunately, non-working fuel gauges are quite common on Sprites. Sometimes it’s the sender… we fix and replace lots of those… but often the gauges are missing, broken, or mis-matched to the fuel tank sender and therefore not working.

Now, we have a new gauge available that works with all Spridgets through mid-1967 (after mid-1967 you need a damped gauge and this one will not work with those later senders). No programming needed…  just plug and play. And they look like they belong with a type- face very similar to the original. These gauges are a welcome addition to any restored dashboard.

No one else sells this gauge and bracket! We made a custom support for the gauge to ensure they mount easily for strength and longevity!

Restorer’s notes:

On Sprite MkII/Midget MkI, the fuel gauge went to a slightly different style with out the 1/4 & 3/4 markings, but the fuel sender is the same and this gauge will work for these cars as well. This gauge looks good in any Spridget up to 1967 (AH – MkIV # 72039 or MG – MkIII # 60459)

The original Bugeye fuel gauges have a different light socket, which you will need to convert to the plug-in type. We sell the correct gauge light socket, bulb, and crimp on bullet connector needed for this application! When installing this, we recommend putting a ring terminal on the negative wire to make an easy ground.

Note: This gauge diameter is 2-1/16″
