We’ve had lots of head gasket failures lately, so we encourage everyone to upgrade to a multi-layered gasket. These used to be reserved for race-use, but if you want to eliminate head gasket failure going forward, then we strongly encourage you to upgrade to this gasket next time your head is removed! This is indeed cheap insurance!
The most common failure with stock gaskets is between cylinder 2 and 3 where the gasket is thinest. This multi layer gasket has superior strength throughout. We have never seen one fail!
This head gasket is made of three embossed steel gaskets which consists of high temperature coated and uncoated stainless steel. Torque it just like a stock gasket, but enjoy superior longevity and durability!
.030″ thickness equates to a stock thickness head gasket, but we also offer thicker ones for those special scenarios.
