We are advocates for roller throwout bearings because they do not hold onto heat like the stock carbon ones do. We have see the carbon bearings prematurely wear out, or even worse, completely blow apart. Therefore, wherever we can, we like to upgrade to a roller system.
This is the Borg & Beck clutch we use not only on regular clutch replacement jobs, but also on our 5 speed upgrades Big Healeys.
