It’s tough to be a Bugeye Dashboard. People are always punching you full of extra holes.
Over the years we’ve welded and unmodified dozens of Bugeye dashboards that have been poorly perforated by prior owners. In particular, radios, extra gauges and extra switches make their way into the metal face. But nowadays, people like their dashboards stock.
We’re here to help and we’ve got a template for you that you can lay over your dash and you’ll know exactly which holes go where. This is the template we use before we start our welding process on many restorations. Once you get everything welded up and proper, you can fill sand and paint the dashboard and then cover it with one of our re-trim kits that you can buy here.
