Backing Pads are the necessary middle man between your sander and your substrait. They feature a velcro surface that enables you to stick your Mirka abrasive directly to the backing pad. The constant application and removal of abrasives degrades the condition of your backing pads. We highly recommend to use a Mirka pad saver to protect your backing pad.
