At Borowski Race Engines, we use ALL PRO heads on most of our big power LS engine builds with hydraulic roller cams. Here are some reasons why:
– Great air flow (380 cfm at 0.70″ lift) as shown in photoset charts- 100% virgin Alcoa aluminum ingot with no remelt
– Heads have been fully HIP treated (hot isostatic pressing) for greater strength and dimensional stability
– Up to 1 inch deck thickness, 0.75 inch minimum
– Enhanced six-bolt design- Billet rocker rails instead of bosses which we have found to be prone to cracking on other heads- Suitable for either traditional or shaft rockers
We buy these heads as 12-degree, LS7 design porter castings. We are able to impart either LS3 or LS7 shape ports when we machine them on our 5-axis CNC. Our Newen CNC seat & guide machine does the valve job and bowl blending in one operation. Watch the videos below to see the 5-axis and Newen at work.
