Description
While Bugeyes used a stamped metal shift tower, later cars used a soft sock shift boot and to secure such a boot, you need a metal ring as shown. Some folks also like to use a soft boot for a five speed transmission conversion on their Bugee. We made these custom mounting rings to help.
This trim ring is made out of 1/8″ thick aluminum and requires you to drill the holes for mounting. You can polish the trim ring and keep it aluminum (as seen in the photo installed on a car), or paint it to match the interior.
