Description
Most A-series transmission mounts are damaged from exposure to leaking oil, that can make the rubber gummy and/or sometimes perish completely. Before you remove your transmission, make sure to have these three mounts at hand, because we have found it quite common that these need replacement when replacing the transmission. They’re inexpensive insurance next time you remove your transmission. It is very difficult to change these mounts with the transmission in place, and a snap once the transmission is removed.
When replacing these, you may want to consider engine mounts, especially if the engine and trans were removed.
